This Cookie Policy (the “Policy”) explains how EGroupAI Co., Ltd. (Unified Business No. 24314136; brand name: eGroupAI; “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g. sessionStorage/localStorage) when you use the AI Sandbox official website, online demo, and product Web App operated directly by us (collectively, the “Services”). This Policy also explains how you can manage preferences and withdraw consent in jurisdictions such as the EU/EEA.
Note: Cookies may contain online identifiers and, in some cases, may be treated as personal data. For how we process personal data, please also see our Privacy Policy.
0. Scope (Website + Online demo / Product Web App)
This Policy applies to the Services that we directly operate, including:
- The AI Sandbox official website (marketing / content pages)
- The AI Sandbox online demo and product Web App (including sign-in, demos, and hosted environments)
If you use an AI Sandbox environment that is deployed and operated by your organization (e.g. On‑Prem / intranet), the cookie/tracking policies and settings for that environment are determined by your organization and may differ from this page.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website (or its service providers) when you visit. They are commonly used to make websites work properly, provide security protections, remember your settings, or (with your consent) support analytics and marketing.
We may also use “similar technologies”, such as:
sessionStorage/localStorage(browser storage)- SDKs / pixels or similar identifiers (if enabled in the future)
2. Our principles for using cookies (aligned with EU/GDPR/ePrivacy)
- Data minimization: We prefer to deliver functionality without cookies whenever possible. When cookies are required, we use only the minimum information necessary to achieve the purpose.
- Necessary first: If a cookie is strictly necessary for a service you request (e.g. sign-in, security protection), we may use it without consent where permitted.
- Consent before enabling (non-essential): For non-essential cookies (e.g. analytics, marketing), if introduced in the future, we will enable them only after you provide explicit consent, and we will provide a way to withdraw consent at any time.
3. Cookie categories we may use
| Category | Necessary? | Purpose | Examples (may apply) | Retention (may apply) | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Yes | Site operation and security (e.g. abuse prevention, CSRF protection), enabling requested flows (e.g. sign-in) | Session identifier (session id), CSRF token, load-balancing cookie | Usually session or short-term | Legitimate interests (security / service stability) or performance of a contract (provide requested service) |
| Preferences | Depends | Remember your settings (e.g. language or UI preferences) | Language/UI preference | Session or longer | Provide requested functionality (necessary) or consent (depending on jurisdiction) |
| Analytics | No (requires consent) | Understand usage and improve content/performance | Analytics identifiers (if enabled in the future) | Short-term or up to 13 months | Consent |
| Marketing | No (requires consent) | Measure campaign performance and provide more relevant promotions | Marketing/ads cookies (if enabled in the future) | Depends on provider | Consent |
Current status: The Services primarily use “strictly necessary” cookies. If we introduce analytics/marketing cookies in the future, we will provide a clear consent mechanism first and update this Policy accordingly.
4. Cookies related to AI Sandbox online demo / sign-in
In some environments (e.g. preview/development or when providing an online demo), you may use sign-in (e.g. Google sign-in) or interact with backend APIs. In such cases, backend services may set strictly necessary cookies in your browser to:
- Maintain sign-in state (session)
- Prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF)
- Protect the service from abuse
If you disable strictly necessary cookies in your browser, sign-in and related features may not work.
5. How you can manage cookies (including withdrawing consent)
You can manage cookies via:
- Browser settings: Most browsers allow you to view, delete, or block cookies (including per-site settings).
- Device-level controls: Some mobile devices allow you to limit tracking or reset identifiers at the OS level.
- Withdraw consent / change preferences: When the Services enable analytics/marketing cookies, you will be able to adjust or withdraw consent for non-essential cookies in “Cookie settings” at any time (withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal).
Note: Blocking all cookies may make the website or sign-in flows unusable.
6. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy due to regulatory, technical, or service changes. We will update the “Last updated” date on this page. If changes are material, we may also notify you via on-site notices or other reasonable means.
